Dreaming of cypress-lined roads, rolling hills and authentic Dolce Vita on two wheels? A Vespa adventure through Tuscany could be your perfect escape. But choosing between our two routes can be challenging.
We offer two distinctive Tuscany Vespa trips:
- Il Giro Classico – the iconic roudtrip for explorers
- Tuscany Chianti – the relaxed journey for slow travelers
Both routes deliver genuine Vespa experiences, but the type of adventure is very different. This guide will help you decide which trip suits your style best.
Il Giro Classico – Tuscany Vespa roundtrip for explorers
City-to-city Vespa adventure
Il Giro Classico is our original and most popular Vespa route. Designed as a roundtrip, you’ll explore a new destination each day, starting in Pisa and passing through Tuscany’s most famous towns.
The experience
Every morning, hop on your Vespa and set off with only light luggage. Our luggage service transports your bags to the next hotel. You’ll stay in five different hotels, discovering a new city each evening.
Highlights of Il Giro Classico
- Pisa: Leaning Tower and historic center
- Siena: Piazza del Campo and medieval streets
- Florence: Renaissance masterpieces including the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio
- Lucca: Picturesque old town with walkable city walls
- San Gimignano & Pontedera: Medieval towers and birthplace of the Vespa (Piaggio Museum)
Who should choose Il Giro Classico?
- Explorers: You want to see the most iconic cities of Tuscany.
- Variety lovers: You enjoy waking up in a new location every day.
- Active riders: Daily distances of 90–120 km provide adventure and variety.
Tuscany Chianti – relaxed Vespa tour for connoisseurs
Cruising from a single base
The Tuscany Chianti Trip is the relaxed alternative to the Il Giro Classico. Instead of moving hotels daily, you stay the entire trip at one location: the Villa Cesi Resort & Spa in Impruneta. From here, enjoy daily star trips to explore the Chianti wine region and nearby towns without constant packing.
The experience
After riding through the gentle Chianti hills, relax at the pool or with a glass of local wine, perfect for combining riding and leisure. Daily routes are shorter (around 50–100 km), giving more time to unwind and soak in the scenery.
Highlights of Tuscany Chianti
- Chianti Wine Region: Ride through famous vineyards and visit towns like Greve and Radda
- San Gimignano: Explore the medieval town of towers
- Florence & Fiesole: Day trips to Tuscany’s capital and scenic viewpoints
- Villa Cesi Resort & Spa: Relax at the pool after your rides
Who should choose Chianti?
- Relaxation seekers: You prefer staying in one hotel without daily packing.
- Connoisseurs: Wine, local cuisine, and leisure time are as important as riding.
- Slow travelers: Shorter daily distances and a single home base reduce stress.
