Italian beauty, culinary indulgence, azure sea and idyllic villages: Amalfi offers the full package of “La Dolce Vita”.

Explore the Amalfi Coast

No better way to recharge your batteries than to discover this region on an authentic Italian Vespa. During your rides, you’ll pass through beautiful villages like Positano, Amalfi and Ravello which lie along high cliffs, endless blue water and unseen winding roads.

The region offers much more than that, however, for not only is the historical city of Pompeii close by, but the famous port city Sorrento is also just a short drive away with your Vespa. And let this city, like Amalfi, be one of the two capitals of the lemon region. And that means only one thing: limoncello!

In addition to the splendor of the Amalfi Coast and the history the region has to offer, this trip also takes in the hinterland of the Amalfi Peninsula.

The Routes

Our starting point is ideally located in the small town of Sant’Agata. From here you have the possibility to follow three different itineraries, which will take you to discover the Amalfi Coast from every angle.
So let’s go! Each day you’ll have the choice to ride on your own (with your road book & GPS) or to follow our guide and enjoy the group atmosphere! Click on the routes below for more information.

YOUR VESPA

Throughout the trip, you’ll have your own 125cc Vespa at your disposal. You’ll receive it the morning after your arrival, and return it on the last evening. The Vespa is yours for the whole trip, even during the evenings.

If you want to receive your Vespa earlier, or want to keep it a bit longer, you can choose the Early Pick-Up and/or the Late Drop-Off. With those options, the Vespa is yours from 2pm on your arrival day and/or you can return it at 2pm on your departure day (€ 50 per option).

Can I drive the Vespa solo?

The prices are calculated with the assumption that the Vespa is shared between 2 people. If you would like to drive solo, there is a supplement of € 130 per single driver.

Do I need to have driving experience with a Vespa or scooter in order to drive the Vespa in Amalfi?

The roads and traffic in Amalfi are a bit more challenging than at the other destinations. So, if you’ve never driven a Vespa or scooter before or if you are very inexperienced/unsure, we strongly recommend to book the Start-to-Vespa lesson. This way, you can ride safely, avoid posing a risk to the group, and fully enjoy your rides along the most beautiful views.

DRIVING LICENSE

In order to drive our Vespas in Italy, you must have a driving license (B) or a motorbike license (A) and be 18+. The license (AM) is not valid. The passenger sitting in the back does not need to be 18 nor have a driving license. You have a European driving license? That’s perfect! Your license isn’t for Europe? Then you’ll need to apply for an international driving license.

START-TO-VESPA

Never driven a Vespa or scooter before? Then we strongly recommend you to take the Start-to-Vespa class. On your arrival day, the guide will give you all the information and an initiation to get the hang of Vespa driving and to be able to drive safely in Italian traffic. After this lesson, you’ll be ready to start your Vespa Trip. This class costs €50 per person.

GPS

The designed routes are uploaded on a GPS, which you can easily attach to the steering wheel of your Vespa. With this GPS (+ €30) you’ll come by the most beautiful roads and arrive at the most stunning stops.

FOOD

Daily breakfast is included in the price. For a lovely lunch or dinner, we always recommend some of our favorite restaurants. In Sant’Agatha, the home base for your Vespa Trip, you will find many cozy restaurants and nice bars.

VESPA INSURANCE

You are automatically insured for damage to third parties with your Vespa. For damage to your own Vespa, you have two choices. Either you choose the all-in insurance (€89 per Vespa), where the own risk is €0. If you don’t want this insurance, a deposit of €500 is required, for which you are liable.

A month before departure, you’ll receive an email where you can select one of these two options.

OTHER INSURANCES

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

This insurance gives you the opportunity to book without worries. You’ll be able to cancel your booking until the day of departure and receive a full refund, provided that you can show a valid reason for doing so. You can read the conditions here.
